Counterblast background

Counterblast

A former Nazi doctor assumes the identity of a deceased English physician to develop a vaccine that would shield the German people from the biological warfare they have planned.

Mervyn Johns plays a Nazi doctor who escapes from prison and poses as an Australian bacteriologist in London, using his new identity to conduct medical research and develop a method to immunize the German people against a plague. However, his plan is threatened when his British assistant, Robert Beatty, becomes suspicious of his actions and an Australian girl who knew the real doctor shows up.
