Come Away Home

Twelve-year-old Annie Lamm's summer break turns into a disaster when her parents send her to spend half the summer with her 76-year-old Grandpa Donald on Hilton Head Island. Annie is miserable, missing her friends and the city, and is forced to endure her grandfather's eccentricities and outlandish tales. However, she discovers a tiny fishing skiff and, in a moment of desperation, decides to motor to the Greyhound station to escape.
