On a secluded island, a weather observer takes up a new post, but soon finds himself battling for survival against ferocious creatures that inhabit the shores.
A young man arrives on a remote Antarctic island in 1914, following the assassination of Franz Ferdinand, to serve as a weather observer for a year. He lives in isolation, with only a cabin and the surrounding sea for company, until he discovers strange and dangerous beings sharing the island with him.
