Simba educates Timon and Pumbaa about the importance of the Circle of Life by using the example of humans, who transformed from simple hunters to seeking a better life. When this doesn't sink in, Simba shows them the damage caused by neglecting the Circle of Life, and how humans work to improve their world. This leads Timon to realize that making a difference starts at home, and he and Pumbaa break the dam to restore the savanna's stream.
