Chris Winnacker, CEO and co-founder of CJ Toys, has lost touch with the spirit of toys and Christmas despite her name being Christmas. She's approached by Kathleen Keller, CEO of Arlo Toys, to merge their companies with Chris as CEO, pending approval by the Arlo board. The catch is that Chris needs to sign the contract with her other co-founder, Joe Sullivan, who left the business seven years ago without explanation. Chris tracks Joe down, and he's now working at his father's antiques store. Initially, Joe refuses to consent to the merger, but eventually agrees if Chris helps with a Christmas fundraiser, the Christmas Toy Drive Jamboree.
