In the northern jungle of Siam, a pioneering settler named Kru faces challenges from leopards and tigers threatening his livestock. He sets traps to protect his stock, but one of his solutions inadvertently catches a baby elephant. Believing the elephant can be tamed, Kru keeps it captive under his stilted house. However, the mother elephant seeks revenge, destroying Kru's home. The family flees to the village, only to find a massive herd of elephants wreaking havoc.
