Captain Kidd, a notorious pirate, is saved from execution by an Earl who seeks to claim his treasure. The Earl believes that by keeping Kidd alive, he can use the pirate's knowledge to locate the treasure and gain control over it.

In the film, Captain Kidd is saved from execution by an earl seeking his treasure. The earl attempts to extract information from Kidd by placing a female confederate on his ship, but instead, Kidd and the woman fight and eventually fall in love. They join forces to thwart the earl's plan, with Kidd's trusted friend Simpson and the female pirate Ann Bonney also playing key roles.
