A young boy, imprisoned for a violent crime, takes his parents to court, accusing them of neglecting his upbringing.
A Lebanese boy, Zain, sues his parents for giving him life, embarking on a journey from streetwise child to hardened 12-year-old. He flees his neglectful parents, surviving by his wits and meeting a migrant worker who takes him in. Zain takes care of her baby son and later commits a violent crime, ending up in jail before seeking justice in court.
