In rural Arkansas during the Prohibition era, two rival families of bootleggers, the Pruitts and the Woodalls, engage in a longstanding feud that threatens to destroy their communities.

In the 1920s, a man seeks revenge after witnessing his father's murder 12 years prior. He becomes a notorious moonshiner, working for his grandfather's distillery and clashing with a rival family.
