Utah and Opal, two junkies living on the streets of rural Ohio, have their lives turned around by a mysterious encounter with Wood, who brings them to Los Angeles for drug treatment. Utah finds sobriety with the help of a therapist and a love interest, but soon discovers that the treatment center is actually a front for a predatory business that enlists addicts to recruit others.
