In a post-apocalyptic world, Sgt. Cain and Dr. Bell return from the Center for Disease Control, their mission to find human life unsuccessful. They're met with remnants of humanity that have transformed into undead-like "BIOPHAGES" after an accidental bio-chemical agent release. As they journey back to Mt. Bethel, they face encounters with survivors, some friendly and others with hidden agendas, while Dr. Miller works on a cure.
