Billy the Kid background

Billy the Kid

In the late 1800s, a bitter rivalry erupts between rival cattle ranchers in New Mexico, pitting former childhood friends Billy the Kid and Jim Sherwood against each other, with both men now working for opposing sides.

A hot-headed gunslinger, Billy Bonney, is saved from a life of crime by a peaceful rancher, Eric Keating. When Keating is murdered, Billy sets out to avenge his friend's death, even if it means going against his friend's lawman, Marshal Jim Sherwood.
