Five women, aged 84 to 96, known as the "Silver Belles", first met as chorus dancers at the Cotton Club and Apollo Theater in the 1930s. They performed with legendary band leaders and worked 15-hour days, rehearsing new shows weekly. After the big band era ended, they pursued other careers. In 1985, they revived their passion and continue to perform regularly. However, a series of health issues threatens their continued performance, including Cleo's broken knee and arm, Marion's pacemaker, and Bertye's hospitalization.
