An aimless white drifter, Bill, has a chance encounter with an Aboriginal man, Gary, and together they steal supplies as they travel. Along the way, they pick up others, including an Aboriginal man on the run from his marriage and a bored white woman. The group's aimlessness turns deadly as they evade police and boredom.
