A young man, reeling from the loss of his father who was trying to send money home from Tijuana, sets out on a perilous journey, only to face numerous obstacles, including a ruthless police chief who killed his father and now wants him dead. Undeterred, the young man uses his resourcefulness to build a makeshift flying machine and ultimately reaches the Santa Monica pier, where he begins to fulfill his father's long-held dream.
