In Seoul, a sudden and inexplicable outbreak of violent, cannibalistic behavior sweeps the city, transforming ordinary people into zombie-like creatures. A young man, isolated in his family's 4th-floor apartment, witnesses the chaos unfold from a safe distance. As supplies dwindle, he's forced to venture out to scavenge for food, only to be confronted by an infected neighbor who infiltrates his home. As the virus spreads nationwide, the young man's world descends into chaos, with the phone, internet, and water supply all failing him. Just when all hope seems lost, he catches a glimpse of a beautiful girl in the apartment across the way.
