At Desert Airport, pilots risk their lives to deliver mail despite treacherous weather conditions. After a pilot's fatal crash, Mike Miller is forced to partner with the reckless yet skilled Duke Talbot. When another pilot dies in a storm, Talbot steals his widow and Miller is left to complete the mail run. After crashing on a mountain, Miller clings to life but is stranded and unreachable. As rescue attempts fail, Talbot sees an opportunity to prove himself and attempts a daring airborne rescue.
