A screenwriter, Lucy Hargrove, is hired to pen a remake of the beloved holiday movie "His Merry Wife!". When the studio head isn't satisfied with her ending, Lucy is sent to Biltmore Estate for research. While there, she discovers an hourglass that allows her to travel to the 1947 set of the original film. Lucy becomes close with Jack Huston, a star of the film, but her sudden appearance puts the production in jeopardy.
