In the midst of a devastating genocide, a Hutu official is swayed to execute the government's brutal plan to eradicate the Tutsi population. A young Tutsi girl named Josette seeks refuge in a church, hoping to escape the massacre.

In a Rwandan village, a Hutu official is coerced into enforcing the government's policy to eliminate the Tutsi population. A young Tutsi girl, Josette, takes refuge in a church, supposedly protected by UN forces, but her brother is hunted down and killed. Meanwhile, her boyfriend is rescued by rebels.
