The Long Firm background

The Long Firm

Gangster Harry Starks casts a charismatic spell over the lives of those around him, leading them on a journey of love, heartache, and turmoil.

London in the early 1960s was home to Harry Starks, a ruthless mobster who owned a nightclub and had a fascination with money, rent boys, and Judy Garland. He was an East End gangster with a flair for drama, prone to outbursts of madness, depression, and violence. Despite his tough exterior, Harry was also gay, a fact he kept hidden from the public. He earned the nickname "Torture Gang Boss" due to his brutal methods of justice, which often involved physical torture.
