The Judge

Paul Madriani, the brilliant and compassionate defense attorney, is put to the ultimate test when he defends an indefensible adversary in Baltimore. Judge Armando Acosta's harsh rulings are notorious for their inflexibility, and his unjust sentence of an abused wife charged with murder proves damning evidence. However, Madriani finds himself unexpectedly in a position of power against Judge Acosta. Acosta is arrested for soliciting a prostitute under the guise of a vice cop named Brittany Hill who testifies as key prosecution witness. Despite denying the charges, Acosta becomes desperate to secure a savvy defense after Hill's murder and evidence points directly to him. Madriani quickly realizes there's an irony at play; his unlikely client is innocent yet faces dire circumstances with mounting threats against his life, uncooperative witnesses, police corruption, an ambitious prosecutor, and a client who may be both judge and executioner.
