The animated series follows the adventures of two young friends, Billy and Mandy, who befriend the Grim Reaper after cheating him in a limbo game. The Grim Reaper, who possesses magical abilities and supernatural powers, is forced to accompany the children on their misadventures to supernatural locations, such as the underworld, where they encounter grotesque monsters. The series also features a cast of characters, including Irwin, a nerdy and awkward friend, and Mindy, a snobby and spoiled acquaintance.
