In a post-apocalyptic world where humans are vastly outnumbered by zombies, John Knox, a rugged wanderer, finds himself saved by a group of survivors led by Moses. After initially being suspicious of Knox, he proves himself and becomes part of the group. However, their camp is soon attacked by a group of maniacal raiders, leaving only a few survivors, including Knox, who must then gather resources and launch a final attack on the raiders' stronghold.
