In 15th century England, Richard, Duke of Gloucester, eliminates those ahead of him in the line of succession, aided by his loyal executioner Mord. As he takes the throne, he removes figurines from a dollhouse, representing each successor, until he's the only one left. With his brother King Edward IV dead, Richard becomes King Richard III, but must still defeat Henry Tudor to maintain power.
