The Queen's Guards background

The Queen's Guards

Captain John Fellowes, a seasoned Grenadier Guards officer, reflects on his past as he prepares for the prestigious Trooping the Colour ceremony, while also recounting the dramatic story of his family's history.

Two British Army officers, John and Henry, complete their training at Sandhurst and are deployed to the Middle East. John is tasked with leading a parachute battalion, while Henry commands a platoon of armored cars from the Household Cavalry. John struggles with self-doubt, haunted by his father's constant reminders that he's not as good as his brother, who was killed in action.
