An agent for the Liquor Control Department is sent to disband a gang of moonshine operators on an island in the Everglades. He is discovered and nearly escapes by diving into the swamps, where he is stabbed by a masked female killer. He finds refuge at the Cuckoo Bird Inn, where he uncovers a dark secret and must confront the killer to survive.
