A nine-year-old autistic boy named Gregory becomes the sole witness to a brutal hold-up that leaves the owner of a drugstore dead. The only clue is a partial glimpse of one of the perpetrators' faces, which Gregory is able to describe to Cop Barlow, who is convinced that the killers will stop at nothing to silence the young witness.
