Set in Argentina during the economic slump of the 1990s, the film is a poignant portrait of a family struggling with financial difficulties and personal conflicts. Aging slacker Gustavo lives for his children, soccer, and rock 'n' roll. He shares custody with his ex-wife Cecilia, who announces plans to move to Paraguay with their kids.
