Sir Alfred Hitchcock, a renowned film director, seeks a new leading lady after Princess Grace Kelly's retirement. He discovers Tippi Hedren, a television model, and casts her in his film adaptation of "The Birds". However, Hitchcock's obsession with Tippi turns sexual, and she rejects his advances. He puts her through a grueling five-day filming ordeal, where she is attacked and injured by real birds. Despite the trauma, Tippi refuses to give in to Hitchcock's demands. They later collaborate on the film "Marnie", but Tippi eventually demands to terminate her contract and never work with him again.
