A typical Ken Maynard western features a government agent, Ken "Fiddlin'" McDermid, infiltrating the Wolf Morgan gang to put an end to their looting. Instead of immediately informing the townspeople, he and Banty distract them with music while the gang steals from the town. The film is marked by long scenes of the sheriff's posse and the outlaw gang riding in different directions, and a highlight is Glora Shea's singing of "My Pretty Quadroon".
