A rising boxer's complicated love life becomes entangled with a crime syndicate when he falls for the daughter of a powerful crime boss, unaware of her father's illicit activities.

Tommy "Killer" McCoy, a rising light heavyweight boxer, has a complex past as a church choirboy who was pushed into boxing by his self-centered father to support his own vices. Despite being known for his left-handed boxing, Tommy has a powerful right punch. He enters a secret partnership with racketeer Jim Cain, who helps him win fights with a lucky right hand. However, things become complicated when Tommy falls in love with Cain's daughter, Sheila, who is unaware of her father's racketeering activities.
