Clare, a talented dancer with the Boston-Cambridge Ballet Company, is told by the company's director that it's time to transition out of the lead role in the Nutcracker and explore other areas of the business. Instead of accepting this change, Clare plans to audition for other ballet troupes. However, she changes her mind and accepts an invitation from her aunt to spend Christmas at her childhood home in London. Unbeknownst to Clare, her aunt has her own motives for inviting her, including seeking her help with preserving the family home and dance studio.
The Christmas Ball
For the holidays, Clare travels to England to visit her Aunt Bridget, where she encounters Liam, a charming historian dedicated to preserving Aunt Bridget's manor as a historical treasure.
