A group of women from the East Coast arrive at a ranch, only to be directed to a dilapidated shack by the foreman, Autry, who hopes they'll abandon their plans. However, Briggs, a cunning individual, discovers Autry's trick and uses it to his advantage, convincing the women to sell the ranch at a low price. To eliminate Autry, Briggs frames him for murder, setting off a chain of events.
