Nick Broomfield and journalist Hsiao Hung Pai collaborated on an undercover film set in a Chinese brothel in Finchley, London. The city has over 2000 "illegal" brothels, employing 80% foreign nationals, mostly illegal, who are easily exploited by owners. The film's unique feel comes from the camera being mounted in the center of spectacles, allowing participants to look directly into the camera, creating intimacy and a character-led undercover story.
