Rhythm on the River background

Rhythm on the River

Two ghostwriters, one responsible for music and the other for lyrics, behind a popular songwriter's success, unexpectedly fall in love at an inn and attempt to claim their joint work as their own.

Oliver Courtney, a successful songwriter, has relied on two ghostwriters - one for music and another for lyrics - to fuel his career. When the writers meet at an inn, they discover romance and attempt to pass off their creations as their own original work. However, every publisher they approach accuses them of plagiarizing Courtney's style, making it difficult for them to establish their own identities as songwriters.
