Two medical school friends, Patrick and Steve, stumble upon a college cheerleading contest in Oregon. After a night of partying, Steve gets seduced by a local woman named Amber, but their encounter turns out to be a trap. Steve is robbed and beaten by Amber's lover, Bo Cooper, who is also the son of the corrupt local sheriff. Bo shoots himself and frames Steve and his friend as wanted killers, while the sheriff uses his power to cover up the truth.
