A dog searches for shelter on a cold winter's day and finds an unoccupied cabin with a warm fireplace and cozy bed. However, the cabin's owner, a skunk, arrives and a battle ensues over occupancy. Eventually, they decide to peacefully share the bed, only to come down with colds and subsequently cuddle up and fall asleep together.

A plucky homeless dog searches for a warm shelter from the snow, but every door he knocks on is shut in his face. In desperation, he sneaks into the home of the charming French skunk, Pepe LePew, only to be driven out by the overwhelming stench of his new host when he climbs into bed.
