Two mischievous Mexican cats, with one more hot-headed than the other, embark on a futile pursuit of Speedy Gonzales, the swiftest mouse in Mexico. Their creative yet disastrous attempts to catch him include using guitars, a fishing rod, explosives, and landmines. Eventually, they switch targets to Slowpoke Rodriguez, Mexico's slowest mouse, but the short-tempered cat's plan is foiled when he discovers that Slowpoke is packing heat.
