In the small town of Holsten, B.C., a sense of unease settles over its residents as a new horror movie festival approaches. Two years prior, a tragic event occurred at the local cinema during a similar festival, claiming the life of a teenager who met a gruesome end mirroring the on-screen violence. As the festival draws near, some residents can't shake the feeling that history is doomed to repeat itself. And indeed, as the boundaries between reality and the silver screen begin to blur, the horrors unfold in a terrifying game of cat and mouse.
