The musical adaptation of Don Quixote is set against the backdrop of an alleged true event from the life of its creator, Miguel de Cervantes. The story follows Don Quixote, a eccentric and aging nobleman who brings shame to his esteemed family through his wild escapades. Accompanied by his loyal companion Sancho Panza, he engages in a series of absurd battles, including a famous duel with windmills. Don Quixote's romantic obsession is with Dulcinea, a woman he believes to be his ideal lady, but in reality, she is a mistreated prostitute named Aldonza.
