Tunin, a determined peasant anarchist, arrives in Rome to assassinate Benito Mussolini, his friend's unfinished mission. He's welcomed at a high-end brothel, where his cousin Salomè, a devoted revolutionary, works as a prostitute. Tunin's plans are complicated by his falling in love with Tripolina, a girl at the brothel, and his struggle between ideals and passion.
