University student Tsuneo Suzukawa juggles part-time jobs to study abroad, but a fateful accident introduces him to Josee, a girl in a wheelchair who initially appears rude. Convinced by Josee's grandmother, Tsuneo becomes her caretaker, and despite her bossy demeanor, he decides to stay and help her achieve her dream of exploring the world despite her crippling condition.
