A troubled 17-year-old, Mason Jones, has been shuffled through numerous foster homes, leaving him feeling unloved and unwanted. However, his life takes a turn when he's taken in by the Lewis family, who make a conscious effort to keep him. Their biological son, though, is skeptical of his parents' motives for welcoming Mason into their home. Through a court-mandated support group, Mason learns valuable lessons about humility, respect, and new beginnings.
