In the film "Nevada", a bank robbery takes place, and Nevada and Weary hijack the loot from Les Setter and his gang. After escaping from Sheriff Jim, they become embroiled in a complex web of events when Setter's men kill a government horse-buyer, David Ward. Setter takes Ward's papers and requests horses from rancher Blaine, claiming he'll pay later. Meanwhile, Setter becomes infatuated with Ina Blaine, much to the dismay of her beau, Ben. As tensions escalate, Nevada and Weary are hired for a horse round-up, but Setter frames them and Ben for a fake crime. With the help of the camp cook, Millie, they escape and begin a pursuit of Setter and his gang.
