A group of college students spend their nights surfing and socializing at a local club, where they enjoy the performances of comedian Uncle Woody and sip on Pepsis. Meanwhile, the charismatic and wealthy playboy "Ding" Pruitt finds himself smitten with Sandy Palmer, and their budding romance is put to the test when his grandfather's secret past as an ex-bootlegger is revealed, threatening to shut down the club.
