For 35 years, Doña Flor has been a clerk in a government office, becoming invisible to those around her. Despite this, she still finds solace in watching children swim at the pool and remembering her daughter. When her cat dies, Doña Flor is unable to cope with the loss and tries to continue her routine. However, this leads her to face her deeper wound from the loss of her daughter. She decides to swim, but is paralyzed by fear. With the help of another woman's compassionate gesture, Doña Flor is able to overcome her fears and reawaken to her own identity at the age of 63.
