Ben Forsyth was a talented cyclist: British Youth Champion. He died suddenly of a heart condition, leaving his family and friends devastated and wondering how they could prevent other young people from tragically dying like this. The film explores Ben's life through his family and friends, many of whom are top athletes in their own right, including Olympic track medallist Jack Carlin. Threaded throughout, the story follows Ben's dad, Keith, and three other friends competing in a 24 hour endurance mountain bike race. They're attempting to win a special trophy: one named by the event organisers the Ben Forsyth Trophy. Also covered in the film is that many of Ben's friends and family now raise money and awareness for cardiac screenings in the hope that young lives will be saved: superhuman efforts like running 30 marathons in 30 days, and climbing the highest three peaks in the UK but also cycling between them within 48 hours. The film is touching, sad, warm, funny and hopeful.
