In a factory where incinerators hum in the background, Donny's coworkers are oblivious to his dark obsession with fire. Unbeknownst to them, Donny's troubled past, where his mother used burning as a form of punishment, has left him with a deep-seated psychological trauma. After his mother's passing, Donny's excitement at being free from her grasp is short-lived, as he begins to hear her voice in the house, taunting him with his deepest fears. As his grip on reality falters, Donny's delusions and hallucinations escalate, leading him to abduct women and ultimately, to exact a twisted revenge by burning them alive.
