In a forgotten corner of the former Soviet Union, a gang of children grows up in a community of banished criminals, isolated from the outside world and governed by their own rules. Two childhood friends, Kolyma and Gagarin, become sworn enemies as they find themselves on opposite sides of the strict code of honor among the "honest criminal" brotherhood.
