A cricket named Ket, a talented musician, leads a band of bugs in a carefree dance. In a neighboring anthill, Antoinette, the heiress, lives under strict rules of discipline and hard work. By chance, the two meet, and their bond grows. Antoinette tries to warn the crickets of an impending winter, but they don't listen. When Antoinette is kidnapped by the ambitious ant Antheodor, Ket and his friends spring into action to rescue her.
